The Effect of Shelterbelt on the Productivity of Annual Field Crops

Studies conducted in 1978 and 1979 at Tirupati and Rajendranagar campus of Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University to study the influence of shelterbelts on yields of annual field crops have shown that production due to shelterbelt lead to increased yields of groundnut ranging from 39.60% to 43.05%, pigeonpea from 38.51% to 46.90% and pearl millet from 23.28% to 63.64%.Downloads
