Notes on the Flora of Black Cotton Soils in East Nimar, Madhya Pradesh

The paper deals with the flora of black cotton soils in East Nimar district, Madhya Pradesh. Our knowledge regarding the vegetation and flora of this region is scanty and, therefore, the present study was undertaken by the author during the year 1958. A large part of the area under study is occupied by the black cotton soils popularly known regur soils. An annotated list of 180 species of plants, comprising the flora of regur soils is given.Downloads
