A Note on Wattle of the Palni Hills

Out of the one lakh tons of tan bark annually consumed in India by its industry, nearly a half is supplied by the Wattle Plaotations of the Palni (Pulney) and Nilgiri Hills in Madras State. This paper, in brief, deals with the history and botany of the three Wattle species associated with Kodaikanal and the Palni Hills.Downloads
