Propagation of Cupressus Cashmiriana Royle and Cryptomeria Japonlca, Don by Stem Cuttings

A trial was undertaken to study the relation between age and rooting of Cupressus cashmiriana Royle, and Cryptomeria japonica Don. The definite effect of age of the shoot on rootability in both the species was notices. In case of Cupressus best result was obtained from the cutting of juvenile seedlings and in case of Cryptomeria from the cuttings of young shoots of mature trees.Downloads
