Study on Germination Behaviour of Dioscorea floribunda (Mart & gal) in Nursery

Abstract

The nursery trial of D. floribunda showed that the optimum size of the tuber should be between 41-60 gm. The sprouting time for crown portion in 30 days and that for median, tip portions is 90 days when the best sprouting can be obtained.
