Abstract

Enicostema lettorale Blume (Gentianaceae) is a valuable & remarkable ethnomedicinal plant used by Bhil tribe of Ratlam District (M.P) in the treatment of Gout, Malaria and Typhoid. The species is under threat due to over-exploitation for its medicinal properties, indicating an urgent need for conservation of the species.
