Abstract

The Forest Development Corporation of Maharashtra Ltd. is a Company wholly owned by the State Govt. and was incorporated under the Indian Companies Act on 16.2.1974. The Company was established mainly for the purpose of converting low value miscellaneous forest into teak stands. Upto 1987 the FDCM Ltd. have raised teak plantations over 1.25 lac ha.
