Abstract

Paper describes activities of Arasu Rubber Corporation Ltd., Tamil Nadu which started functioning from 1.10.1984. Rubber plantation is only successful in Kanyakumari Distt. There are eight Rubber Plantation Divisions and two factories under above Corporation and during 1990-91, 2531 tonnes of raw rubber was produced. The Corporation earned a net profit of Rs. 55.52 lakhs during 1990-91.
