Some Observations on Poplars in Jammu & Kashmir State

A description of an the existing poplars found in the State of Jammu & Kashmir has been given. These include the three indigenous species, P. Ciliata, P. euphraricita and P. balsamifera and the five exotics P. nigra cv 'Ilalica', P. deltodies' P. x euramericana, F. alba and P. trernula. Indications are given for the field trails of these and other exotic poplar varieties under forest conditions.Downloads
