Abstract

The drought resistant pasture legume Stylosanthes hamata has indicated quite a satisfactory performance in the semi-arid area of Sholapur district. It persisted well even in heavy grazing conditions. It can exhibit similar performance in the regions receiving rainrall as below as 350 mm and prove a boon to semi-arid areas of the country.
