Studies on the Effect of Period of Collection and Storage of Sal (Shorea robusta Gaerin) Seed Kernel and its Oil

The paper describes the results of the experiments conducted on the effect of collection and storage of Sal (shorea robusta Gaertn) seed kernels for a period ranging from 15 to 150 days stored under various condition. The yield and quality of the oil extracted from stored kernels after stipulated periods have been determined for the acid, eater and iodine values the effect of storage on the quality of the sal seed fat stored for one year has also been examined.Downloads
