Abstract

The members of the family Dilleniaceae are distributed in tropical and sub-tropical regions. In the Indian sub-continent, it is well represented (62.5% of the total taxa). The present paper deals with distribution, phytoendemism, potential survival threat on existing taxa etc. of Dilleniaceae in the Indian sub-continent.
