Abstract

The list of angiosperm genera endemic to the, Indian Floristic Region and its neighbouring areas is brought up to date by providing additions, deletions and cerrections to an earlier list. Nemenclatural notes information on the number of species, the distribution of the genera and reasons for deleting some genera hitherto considered endemic to the areas under review are included. The seed for a restudy or these genera from different points of view io emphasised.
