Existence of Red Pine in Khasi Pine Areas of Meghalaya : Controversy, Solution and Prospects

The existence of Red pine in Khasi pine areas of Meghalaya along with solutions has been discussed in this article. The conservation and breeding of Khasi pine trees producing high quality wood and inclusion of wood density as a parameter in future improvement programs of Pinus kesiya have also been suggested.Downloads
