Ethno-therapeutics of Certain Ayurvedic Medicinal Plants of Kondapalli Fort, Andhra Pradesh

Phytodiversity studies were conducted on the flora of Kondapalli fort and surroundings in Krishna District (A.P.). Exploration trips were undertaken during the year 2003 for ethnobotanical studies and germplasm collection of the Traditional Ayurvedic Medicinal Plants. 36 medicinal plant species belonging to 21 families have been enumerated, highlighting local medicinal uses practiced by local tribals and villagers since ages.Downloads
