Through JFM programme people are also getting involved in biodiversity conservation. The Samanvit Gram Vanikaran Smriddhi Yojna (SGVSY) and National Afforestation Programme (NAP) implemented by Forest Development Agencies (FDAs) have given momentum to JFM programme in the State which lead to increase in dense forest cover.
