Abstract

The note below was drafted in response to an enquiry from the Imperial Forestry Bureau and is necessarily somewhat brief. To anyone interested in the subject the proceedings of the Central Fodder and Grazing Committee meeting in November 1939, with the various annexures are worth reading. I mention this as the suggestion to publish the note in the Indian Forester has just been made, and in these rather difficult days I find it impossible to write further notes in amplification.
