The applicability of Gehrhardt's formula for determining the growth of understocked crops in terms of the growth of fully stocked crops has been tested in the case of four deodar sample plots specially laid out for the purpose in 1940. The data on record show that the formula does not hold good for deodar in the Himalayas.Downloads
