Traditional Medicinal Plants of Satpuda, Nandurbar District, Maharashtra State

Medicinal plants traditionally used from centuries to treat various ailments are reported from Satpuda region of Nandurbar District in North Maharashtra. In the present paper, 21 Medicinal plants are enumerated in detail, giving information about medicinal uses, parts used, dosage and mode of preparation of drugs. During three years extensive survey, the plant material has been collected as per customary ways and uses of plant recorded after through and cross checking with various sources. Latest nomenclature has been followed after referring the current literature. Distribution pattern and herbarium specimen numbers of plant spices recorded are also given for the authenticity.Downloads
