Abstract

The chief host of Atractocerus reversus is Boswellia serrata (salai) but Lannea grandis has also been recorded. Other new hosts are Buchanania latifolia, Butea frondosa, Cochlospermum gossypium and Hardwickia binata. The beetles begin to emerge from February at Nepanagar, M.P. and from March at Dehra Dun, U.P., depending on the weather conditions.
