Abstract

The paper deals with the flora of Himalayan foot-hll1s in Eastern Nepal. Our knowledge regarding the flora of this tract is scanty and therefore, the present study was undertaken. A review of previous botanical work in this area has been given. A list of 200 species belonging to 60 families Of flowering plants is given. Collection was done up to an altitute of 2592 m in Eastern Nepal, in the catchment of river Rosi.
