Rhus Hookeri Replaces "Rhus Insignis"

Rhus insignis Hook. f. (1876) is an illegitimate name being a later homonym of Rhus insignis (Del.) Oliv. (1868). The latter is an African plant. The former, an Indian plant, is now renamed as Rhus hookeri Sahni et Bahadur nom. nov. It is a rare and beautiful tree which is threatened with extinction.Downloads
