Wilt Disease -a Potential Threat to <I>Casuarina</I> Plantations

Abstract

Field observation on the occurrence and damage in Casuarina equisetifolia plantations due to Trichosporium vesiculosum stem wilt are emphasized in this paper. Disease severity was recorded in 5 to 6 years old plantations of Casuarina in three important coastal ranges of Gujarat and Orissa States. Some recommendations are also suggested to control the disease in plantations.
