Wilt Disease -a Potential Threat to Casuarina Plantations

Field observation on the occurrence and damage in Casuarina equisetifolia plantations due to Trichosporium vesiculosum stem wilt are emphasized in this paper. Disease severity was recorded in 5 to 6 years old plantations of Casuarina in three important coastal ranges of Gujarat and Orissa States. Some recommendations are also suggested to control the disease in plantations.Downloads
