Abstract

Forest Management in India is century old. During this long span of time many technological and managerial events have taken place. Nevertheless, the five basic issues on which the entire forestry activites revolve have not been solved with our arts on hand. The Issues and State of Art are reviewed so as to equip ourselves for the approaching 21st century.
