Growth Behaviour of Intraspecific Cytotypes of Eugenia jambolana Lamk

Abstract

Analysis of one year progenies of E. jambolana reveals that diploid plants have faster growth followed by hexaploid and tetraploid. The growth in all the three cytotypes occur at much faster rate during summer months (from April to July) as compared to the remaining period.
