Developmental Activities of Andhra Pradesh Forest Development Corporation Ltd.

Abstract

Andhra Pradesb Forest Development Corporation Limited was established in 1975, to raise plantations of pulpwood, timber, fuelwood, cashew, coffee and pepper. Tbe Corporation has raised 68,085 ha plantations upto 31st March, 1991. The other objective was to promote forest based industries. Corporation is also collecting, curing, storing and selling beedi leaves and has earned a profit of Rs. 155.68 lakhs during 1990-91, Tbe other activities are helping tbe farmers and other agencies in raising plantations and marketing of produce.
