An entomogenous fungus Beauveria tenella (Delacroix) Siemaszko was isolated from dead larvae and pupae of Eutectona machaeralis Walker collected from teak forests of Melghat, Maharashtra State. Laboratory experiments gave 80% kill of the larvae, when sprayed with spores culture of the fungus in water. This fungus is a promising pathogen for the microbial control of the teak skeletonizer.Downloads
