Germination of Populus ciliata Seed as Affected by Depth of Sowing

Abstract

The result of experiments conducted to study the effect of the depth of sowing on germination of Populus ciliata seed showed that sowing on the surface gives the highest germination percentage and even the slightest covering of the seed by sand depresses germination.
