Some Medicinal Plants of Tikamgarh District of Madhya Pradesh

Abstract

This paper deals with the survey of some important medicinal plants used against different types of diseases by the people of village communities, mostly belonging to schedule caste and schedule tribe of Tikamgarh district of Madhya Pradesh. During the survey, 116 plant species of angiosperms were enumerated. Their local names, botanical names, families,plant parts and their utilization are presented in this paper.
