Abstract

A taxonomic account of the genus Ipomoea L. of family Convolvulaceae collected from Hamirpur and Mahoba districts, U.P. is given with up-to-date nomenclature, key for identification, brief description, phenology, locality and field number of each taxon. The genus in the district is represented by 12 species of which 7 species are new additions.
