Eucalypts species and provenance trials were started systematically in several states of India between 1979 to 1983. Results of the trials of several provenances of Eucalyptus tereticornis and Eucalyptus camaldulensis carried out in Khammam district of Andhra Pradesh are given. No single provenance has shown its superiority all over and none can be recommended for large scale planting in these edapho-climatic conditions.Downloads
