The best species for all around performance were Acacia tortilis, Albizia lebbeck and Dalbergia sissoo. Eucalyptus camaldulensis (rostrata) and E. hybrid established and grew well hut they require special care against white ant. Most successful esta. blishment can be achieved by use of seedlings raised in polyethylene bags. This method costs slightly more than use of bare rooted plants but the establishment rate will be much higher and the trees will withstand adverse monsoon condition.Downloads
