Post-War Forest Policy for India

Abstract

In continuation of the leading article under the above tittle in our last number, we have now received a copy of the second Report on contstruction planning drawn up by the resonstruction committeeof council. Forests are dealt with under section 18 of part II, which is reproduced below. It would appear that the Committee have accepted Sir Herbert Howard's recommendation to agreat extent.
