Pulping of Hardwoods from Maharashtra for Production of Packing Papers

The results of the investigation on the production of semichemical and kraft pulps as well as bleached kraft pulps for the manufacture of packiDg paper from a mixture of hardwoods from Maharastra are described. It is observed that pulps in satisfactory yield and strength properties can be obtained from mixed hardwood. growing in Eastern Maharashtra State by the cold soda process, neutral sulphite semichemical process and kraft process.Downloads
