Abstract

Seed germination and growth of seedling in Enterolobium contortisiliquum has been studied in different depth of sowing. The results of the experiment conducted on the effect of depth of sowing on germination are reported. Sowing done up to 2.0 cm depth gave higher germination percentage than random sowings. Sowing of this species at a depth of 2.0 cm is recommended.
