This is the first formal attempt to update the list of spiders described from states of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The World Spider Catalogue by N. I. Platnick is followed to compile the list. Tikader's list is used for extensive comparison of the present list. Overall, 214 spider species under 22 families and 68 genera have been listed as formally described from Madhya Pradesh including Chhattisgarh. The paper lists synonymised spider taxa and transfers in taxonomic positions.Downloads
