Fodder Plants of Tribal Inhabited Localities of Ratlam District (Madhya Pradesh)

Frequent ethnobotanical surveys were conducted between August 2004 to March 2008 in different tribal inhabited villages of Ratlam district (Madhya Pradesh). The present communication describes 102 species belonging to 88 genera and 42 families which are sources of fodder used by bhil tribe of the district for their domestic animals. For each species informations regarding Botanical name followed by local name, Family, habit, status, parts used and the kind of animal fed are given.Downloads
