Abstract

Presently exploitation of medicinal flora is at alarming levels, leading to shrinkage of biodiversity and it calls for invoking conservation and sustainable uses of medicinal and aromatic plants. Under the conservation strategies, JK Paper Limited has established a medicinal garden, which conserves 180 species of medicinal and aromatic plants which is a strong base for the wider campaign towards environmental sanity through education and public awareness.
