Larvae of three geometrid species including Hyposidera talaca, Ectropis bhurmitra and Pingasa chlora were recorded for the first time as defoliators of Paulownia fortunei in India. These were found causing multiple defoliation to the plants. Hyposidera talaca was found to be a major defoliating pest of P. fortunei causing high level infestation while E. bhurmitra and P. chlora were recroded as minor pests.Downloads
