The paper deals with an enumeration of the sedge flora of Madhya Pradesh. The use of sedges as material for phytogeographical studies of the flora of India could be rewarding. Further, distributional studies of sedges provide material of great value for such topics as endemism, patterns of distribution, centres of dispersal, affinities, etc.Downloads
