Laboratory experiments on the production of chemical pulps from ringal (Arundinaria sp.) for production of writing and printing papers by sulphate process are described. The average fibre length of pulp was 1.01 mm and average fibre diameter was 11 microns. Easy bleaching pulps in satisfactory yields could be prepared under suitable conditions of digestion.Downloads
