Abstract

Fourteen years rainfall data of self recording raingauge available at Soil Conservation Research Demonstration and Training Centre, Vasad have been analysed and discussed in this paper. Average annual rainfall at Vasad is 826 mm with average number of forty rainy days. It has been found that over 97 per cent of rainfall is received in the months from June to September. Probability and frequency analysis of the rainfall data have also been done and are reported for tentative use.
