Abstract

Crude extracts of fresh leaves of 14 different plants were tested against third instar larvae of Dalbergia sissoo defoliator, Plecoptera reflexa to evaluate their antifeedant and insecticidal activities. This investigation revealed that the extracts of Melia azadirach followed by Eucalyptus hybrid and Pongamia pinnata were found to be most effective and potent antifeedant.
