Abstract

A species trial was conducted with eight spp. To select the suitable ones for domestication. C. rotang is the best species in terms of growth in height and survival percentage. C. pseudorivalis and C. karnatakensis can be used for large scale plantations at medium elevation and D. kurzianus at higher elevations.
