Optimum Age of Bamboo Culms for Nodal Cuttings

Culm cuttings of bamboo can be used successfully as an alternative method of vegetative propagation for large scale plantation. Survival per cent of culm cuttings varies significantly for different species. Cuttings of two years old bamboo culms give higher survival percentage than one year or three year old culm cuttings.Downloads
