Abstract

The paper presents the results of an experiment conducted at Forest Research Institute, Debra Dun to see the effect of open, shade and mulch on the germination of Chukrasia velutina seeds. The results after analysis of the data indicate that use of mulch produces maximum number of seedlings and gives quicker germination.
