Abstract

The paper basically deals with the functioning of the Carburettor of the Power Chain Saw. The use of Power Chain Saw is very less in Indian conditions, as compared to foreign countries. This is mainly on account of defects arising in it while in operation in the field and lack of knowledge regarding its functions among the forestry workers and staff handling the power chain saw. The defects in the fuel system are mentioned in detail along with the possible solutions, so that the workers and, staff handling the Power Chain Saw can work with it, without any undue hindrance in the field.
