Air-layering was successfully done in Pinus roxburghii. The factors conducive for such an operation are proper selection of parent shoot, time of air-layering and control of moisture, temperature and air. Individual role of these factors is described. The method followed, induces prolific root formation in air-layered branches.Downloads
