A New Species of Phaeotrichoconis on Uraria picta from Varanasi, India

A new species of Phaeotrichoconis, P. urariac Bharadwaj is described. The fungus infects the leaves and pods of Uraria picta Desv. in the Ayurvedic garden, Banaras Hindu University. The fungus is cormpared with the type of P. crotalariac (Salam ⊄ Rao) Subrarnanian from which it differs in measurements of conidia, conidiophores, sclerotia and other characters. Finally it infects totally different host.Downloads
