Some Noteworthy Rare Plants of Gujarat

Cochlearia cochiearioides (Roth) Sant.&Maheah, Indigofera angulosa Edgew collected from Rajpipia forest range in South Gujarat and Trigonella corniculata Linn., from forest of Shamlaji in North Gujarat, constitute new records for erstwhile Bombay Presidency. Rothia indica Druce, Diospyros chloroxylon Roxb. And Sebetiana chamaelea Mueil-Arg, in Rajpipla Forest range are recorded from Gujarat for the first time. The specimens are depositred in the herbarlun of Botany Department of this University.Downloads
